Baltimore Stands With Minneapolis

Like Minnesotans, Baltimore takes care of its neighbors. We know what it means to show up when harm feels relentless and the ground beneath a community won’t stop shifting.

While Baltimoreans may not be physically on the ground in Minneapolis, we are present—through solidarity, shared grief, and material support for the organizers and organizations carrying the weight of this moment.

The needs across Minneapolis and Minnesota are immense and evolving. Our response must be both swift and durable.

Right now, the most immediate way to act is through direct giving. Resources are urgently needed, and organizers on the ground know best where and how those funds should move. The list below highlights organizations leading frontline work across Minneapolis and Minnesota, sourced directly from organizers in Minneapolis. I encourage you to give directly to these groups now.

At the same time, we recognize that moments like this call for collective action and shared stewardship. The creation of a  pooled fund will allow us to move resources in a coordinated and strategic way, strengthening frontline efforts toward collective impact. When appropriate infrastructure is set up in the coming days, the below list will inform the creation and direction of that pooled fund from Baltimoreans to Minnesotans.

Please contribute and if you know organizers or organizations doing this work in Minnesota who should be included, please reach out via the Get In Touch tab above so they can be added.

Fighting fascism must be a swift and ongoing operation. It requires constant vigilance and care.

Thank you for your taking action.
